My First Solo Travel as an Introvert. Wanna Join Me?

There was this one period of time where I was really low in life(between the year of 2018 and 2019).

That was the time when I had to do my Internship(which is my final year in dentistry)

But as said earlier, I was really down emotionally.

I couldn’t let my parents know about my struggles, because I don’t want them to be worried thinking about me.

All that I wanted to do is, to get out of the situation, the place, feel free and breathe free for a while.

That’s when I wanted to do solo travelling

I was a girl who goes out only with friends or with my parents(I mostly try to avoid going out back then)

Thinking about staying alone was a nightmare to me.

Disclaimer- skip this if you are already facing a lot of negativities in life.

I was scared about few things.

1.How can I sleep all alone at night?(FYI- I am scared of ghosts)

2.What if I get unwell?

3.What if I met with an accident?

4.What would others think being a girl and roaming all alone?

5. What will happen if I have to face some natural calamities like earthquake or tsunami?

These questions raised just because I became a overthinker and became a negative person.

That’s when I decided on my first solo trip.( It was just a small one)

Salem to Bengaluru

It might be boring for you, but I want this first experience to be in my blog.

Day 1

8:10am– I started from Salem to Bengaluru in train(CBE SBC Uday Express)

It was a great experience I didn’t know anybody in there. Nobody to talk.

Me+ window seat + A.R.Rahman“s Music = Pure Bliss

12:00pm– Reached cantonment.

Times of India

Had an Egg puffs and veg sandwich with honey cake and rose milk(of course I am a foodie) which costed me around 100rs, Which tasted delicious.

I stayed in my relative’s house just because I don’t want to be anxious being and staying alone on the very first day itself, thought of taking small steps each time.

Day 2

I booked a room in YMCA, Nirpudunga road.

Had my complimentary breakfast soft idles and coconut chutney.

At 10:00am– I started to Commercial street, That was a great experience, Grabbed a lot of clothes.

And there is a world’s best Frankie(Tibb”s Frankie) If you go there you should definitely try that.

Straight at 6; 00 pm went to Vv Puram, I was too tired going there smelling and tasting that heavenly food calmed me. I personally loved Ghee dosa, Gukhan Icecream, kodu nele, badam kheer and cutlets

If you wanna try there, don’t forget to carry your own water bottle.

At 9:00pm I reached Woke Hostel in Indira nagar, had a great time.

Day 3

At 6:00 am Had a walk-in Cubbon Park. It was so soothing seeing all green and enjoying the birds sound with the melodious music. The trees were Hugging.

At 9:00am Had my breakfast in MTR(Lakshmi road), Had a great breakfast.

At 10:30am I went to UB city mall which was so grand, Had my lunch there in subway.

At 11 pm started from Bangalore to Mysore reached there at 2 am, Had one Masal dosa near the Mysore palace, watched the palace from outside as it was locked and came back to Bangalore at 7 am and returned to Salem.

Mysore Palace

I wanted this blog to be really small, as its is my experience, Hope its convincing.
